Educational Philosophy
I believe it is important for students to make connections with what they are learning. I do my best to make learning interesting for the students. By varying the style in which I teach I attempt to keep students from getting "bored". I have always felt that if the students enjoy coming to class they will be more open to what I am teaching. I also believe in role modeling my faith in everything.
Education
Graduated from Greencastle Antrim High School 1999.
Received a Bachelors of Science in Education, from Shippensburg University, in 2004.
Past working Experiences
During college I substituted at Shalom Christian Academy K-12 grades.
Worked at Stonebridge Home for teens(part of Brooklane Health Services).
Assisted my husband, the Program Director at Cove Valley Youth Camp, for 5 years.
Family
I am married and have a wonderful newborn son. My husband is a middle school Social Studies teacher at Shalom Christian Academy. I love to go camping and motorcycle riding. I enjoy reading, scapbooking, and painting. I am a member at Mercersburg Mennonite Church. I have a yellow lab named Daisy.
